I began drawing and making things with my hands at a very early age and my interest in portraiture became the focus of my studies.
Now, a life long learner, teacher, grandmother, painter, sketcher, community practitioner and activist, I've learned that to be an artist means to live life creatively utilizing whatever medium the art calls for.

The majority of my work is paintings in oil but I don't like to limit myself when it comes to mediums, materials and processes. On this website I attempt to share with you the various mediums used for each project. I am an Interdisciplinary artist in flux living in a world in flux, therefore there is no better time than the present to publish this website which is apt to change and move.

Being in nature, the miracle of life, color, music, shapes, relationships, art!
Inspiration can come from a block of wood if it has meaning and /or interesting shadows. I’m interested in shapes, colors, sounds, compositions, and ideas that produce meaning, memory and emotion.
